ReadWave User Service Agreement

This User Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between you (the "User") and [APP Operator Name] (the "Operator"), governing your use of the ReadWave (the "APP") and all related services provided by the Operator. By downloading, installing, registering, or otherwise using the APP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you must not use the APP.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 The Operator provides the User with free novel reading services through the ReadWave, including but not limited to providing access to a library of novels, personalized recommendation services, and reading record synchronization. The specific content of the services may be adjusted by the Operator from time to time according to operational needs, and the Operator will notify Users of major adjustments through prominent announcements within the APP or other reasonable means.

1.2 The Operator reserves the right to add, suspend, or terminate part or all of the services without prior notice in the event of force majeure, legal requirements, or necessary technical upgrades to ReadWave. The Operator shall not be liable to Users for any losses caused thereby, except as otherwise stipulated by law.

2. User Obligations

2.1 When registering an account, the User shall provide true, accurate, and complete personal information (such as email address, username, etc.) and update such information in a timely manner to maintain its validity. If the User provides false or incomplete information, the Operator reserves the right to refuse services to the User or terminate the User's account.

2.2 The User shall properly safeguard account credentials such as the account name and password, and shall be independently responsible for all activities conducted through the account. If the User discovers any unauthorized use of the account or other security risks, the User shall immediately notify the Operator and take necessary measures to prevent the expansion of losses. The Operator shall not be liable for any losses resulting from the User's failure to properly safeguard their account credentials.

2.3 When using ReadWave and its services, the User shall not engage in any illegal or improper activities, including but not limited to:

• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, reputation rights, or other legitimate rights and interests of the Operator or third parties;
• Uploading, posting, or disseminating content that contains illegal or harmful information such as violence, pornography, terror, hatred, defamation, or discrimination;
• Using the App to engage in illegal or criminal activities such as fraud, gambling, or money laundering;
• Performing reverse engineering, reverse compilation, hacking, or attempting to interfere with the normal operation of ReadWave;
• Other behaviors that violate legal provisions or the terms of this Agreement.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to software copyrights, trademarks, interface designs, and operational rules of the App, are owned by us and protected by the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China, the Trademark Law, and other relevant laws and regulations.

3.2 The copyrights to all novel content (including text, plots, character settings, etc.) within the App are owned by us or the legitimate right holders. Users are only entitled to the right of personal non-commercial reading. Any use of the content by means of copying, distributing, adapting, commercial exploitation, or otherwise is prohibited. Violators shall be liable for infringement.

3.3 Without our prior written permission, users shall not use any intellectual property-related content of the App, such as its name, logo, and marks.

4. Privacy Protection

4.1 The Operator attaches great importance to the protection of user privacy and will collect, use, store, and disclose users' personal information in accordance with the Operator's Privacy Policy.

4.2 The User acknowledges and agrees that the Operator may collect necessary User information to provide and optimize ReadWave's services, such as reading preferences, device information, and usage data. The Operator will not disclose User personal information to third parties without the User's consent, except as required by law or to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Operator or others. For non-essential personal information, the User has the right to refuse to provide it, and the Operator shall not refuse to provide basic reading services to the User on this ground.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

5.1 ReadWave and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Operator makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Operator does not guarantee that ReadWave will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or that all defects will be corrected. The Operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the temporary unavailability of services due to network delays, interruptions, or other force majeure factors.

5.2 The Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use ReadWave, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Termination

6.1 This Agreement shall remain in effect from the date the User accepts it until it is terminated in accordance with the provisions herein.

6.2 The User may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling ReadWave and discontinuing all use of the services.

6.3 The Operator has the right to terminate this Agreement and close the User's account without prior notice if the User violates any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, the User's right to use ReadWave and its services will immediately cease, and the Operator shall not be liable to the User for any losses arising therefrom. After termination, the User shall stop using all content and services related to ReadWave.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

7.1 The conclusion, performance and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall all be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions).

7.2 Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the people's court with jurisdiction at the place where our company is registered.
